Wow....where to begin! After our last posting on Friday, December 12th our lives really changed! On Monday, December 15th the doctor's office called and said that there was some concern about the baby's slow fetal movement and they wanted me to come in two times a week for Non-Stress tests starting that week. So that was the week the non stop doctors visits started. Every week until the baby was born I had 2 NST's and usually 1 Sonogram and this was on top of my regular OBGYN appointments. Ocassionaly there would be a scare like on Feb 24th when they had trouble getting the baby to move and then we were sent to the hospital for additional and more extensive testing or towards the end of the pregnancy when I started measuring huge due to high levels of amniotic fluid we started having regular weekly fluid checks.
Although I had a rough pregnancy and hit some bumps during the LONG 40 weeks, we have a happy, healthy, beautiful little girl and that is all that matters.
